Collection of Personal Information

When you engage in certain activities on this site, such as ordering products, downloading software, obtaining technical support or providing customer feedback, Find IT Easy Software may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities, however, Find IT Easy Software may require that you provide us with personal information, such as your name, title, company, mailing or billing or shipping address, work e-mail address, work phone number and other personal identifying information. When ordering products on the site, you may be asked to provide credit card information through our secure, third party payment processing center. For your protection, no credit card, banking or other financial payment data is EVER requested or stored on our site.

Use of Personal Information

When you submit personal information to Find IT Easy Software, you understand and agree that Find IT Easy Software, its subsidiaries and affiliates may transfer, store, and process your customer profile in any of the countries in which Find IT Easy Software and its affiliates maintain offices, including without limitation, Canada and the United States. As of January 2025, Find IT Easy Software abides by the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and has adopted the proposed Consumer Privacy Protection Act (CPPA) under Bill C-27 to bring its privacy laws into closer alignment with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for collection, protection and transfer of personal data between the EU and Canada. Find IT Easy Software also abides by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) regarding the collection, use and retention of data from the European Union.

Find IT Easy Software, its affiliates and subsidiaries collect this information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select and to provide the products and services on the Find IT Easy website. If you order a product, for example, the information is used to register your license and rights, if any, to technical support, software assurance discounts, or other benefits that may be made available to registered users. You agree that Find IT Easy, its affiliates and subsidiaries can store and use your information for these purposes, including, if applicable, transferring your data to our third party payment processors for the purpose of each secure financial transaction completion. If you voluntarily provide testimonials or participate in a use case study, information is collected to validate you are a customer and end user of our products. Find IT Easy, its affiliates and subsidiaries may also use information that you provide as part of our effort to send you information about product upgrades, special offers, and other Find IT Easy products and services.

Find IT Easy Software recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of this information. If you do not want the information you provide to Find IT Easy Software to be used to inform you of other products and special offers, or if you wish to change or modify information previously provided, you can do so by following the procedures set forth in the Choice/Opt-Out Section of this policy.

We do not and will NEVER sell or redistribute your personal information to any unaffiliated third parties.

Choice/Opt-Out

If you would like to remove your information from our database or not receive future communications, or wish to change or modify information previously provided, you may login to the Find IT Easy membership area to update your profile or please contact us at support(at)finditeasy(dot)com. Upon receipt of your request, your information will be removed or updated as soon as possible, but no later than three (3) business days after our receipt of your request.
